A Guide to Luxury Retreats: Part One
Thursday, February 16th, 2012
I absolutely love to travel. If I had a ton of money to spare, I would probably spend most of it on luxury retreats. Some people would probably go on shopping sprees if they had a ton of money, but not me. I would use that money to treat myself to a luxury retreat, oh, probably three to four times a year. Yup, that sounds really good to me.
But in the meantime, while I don’t have a ton of money yet, let me share with you some of the most exclusive resorts I’ve researched about. In my mind, this is a good use of my time because, at least, when I finally have the money to spend, I would know exactly where to go. Are you with me on this? Good. Let’s begin.
On the top of my list of exclusive resorts, I’d like to visit is Jade Mountain on the beautiful island country of Saint Lucia. Saint Lucia is nestled between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and has breathtaking beaches as well as a lush tropical rainforest. Jade Mountain is owned by architect Nick Troubetzkoy and boasts of rooms where the fourth wall has been left open to make way for the fabulous view of the Caribbean Sea. There is a continuity from your bedroom to living area to your own infinity pool that is unlike any other resort you’ve visited. The resort also offers different spa services and embraces a techno-free policy giving you unparalleled privacy and seclusion. Definitely, this resort is worthy of being called a luxury retreat!

An Awesome and Super Fun Way to Change Things Up
Friday, January 27th, 2012
If you are tired of the same old birthday parties every year, then you might want to consider getting a party bus chicago. This is an awesome and super fun way to change things up this year on your birthday. Even better, it can be a great surprise for a friend’s birthday. What we did for our friend’s birthday last year was have a dinner at our place. We told her we were just going to go bar hopping, and this was partly true. When we readied to leave, to her delighted surprise we walked outside and there was the party bus, music blaring. The night was awesome, to say the least. We were out until the sun came up, and we even ended up getting a last minute hotel room for the group. Man it was fun, and the memories are something we will all have forever. I definitely recommend a party bus.

I Booked This One Package for Us
Friday, January 6th, 2012
For my honeymoon, my new husband and I decided to go to the Island of St. Lucia. This was the most amazing vacation I had been on. Our room overlooked the ocean and the green of the Island. Every morning we woke up to the sound of the waves tumbling and the fresh breeze of the ocean. There were many options available on which room to choose. We both decided on the Island, but we bickered over which room to choose. I wanted the one more expensive, while my husband wanted a room he thought was substantial, but was much less expensive. We finally decided on which room to choose, which was mine! After my husband returned from work, I told him “I booked this one package for us.” This honeymoon was the best decision we have ever made. It has been a few years, but I still envision the mornings, waking up with the sound of the waves tumbling.

Getting Away from the City in Cottages to Rent
Monday, January 2nd, 2012
Living very busy lives, Cottages to rent always make for a wonderful vacation from the city for my partner and I. My husband and I both work in the financial sector, which we all know is very stressful at the moment. So this year our priority for our holiday was to be somewhere as quiet and peaceful as possible. We found a cottage to rent, located in the middle of nowhere, which was very charming and beautiful. We could look out of our window across grassy fields and beautiful countryside. We spent most of the week just exploring the area around the cottage. We hardly saw another person the whole time we were away. It was strange to come back to the city because no matter where you go here you always surround by dozens of other people. Our holiday made me think that maybe we are better suited to a country life style.

A Vehicle That Gives You Freedom with Camper Trailer Hire
Tuesday, December 20th, 2011
Camper trailer hire is a great way for you to experience the Australian outback. It doesn’t matter where you want to set up camp and where you want to go because with this vehicle in tow, you can have a nice time in any location that you want.
If you’re driving to the beach for example, and you come across a nice little campsite that you want to spend a little time in, you only have to stop and set up camp. With the best camper trailers, it’s a snap to set up camp and start enjoying the scene that a particular location has to give.
When you’re all done with that experience, just pack everything back into your camper trailer and you’re ready to go on the road again. You’ll have more than the experience of spending quality time at the beach with your family, when you have a vehicle like camper trailer hire giving you all the freedom.

My Little Girl is All Grown Up!
Saturday, November 26th, 2011
I just finished Googling “summer student accommodation London“, because my twenty-year-old daughter, Elizabeth, is planning on spending her summer there. I have to say, I am more than a little nervous at the prospect. Overall, I am extremely excited for her, though. This is the sort of thing that I always wished I had done when I was her age, and with her being twenty, there isn’t much I can do to stop her even if I wanted to! She is a good student, and she has always been trustworthy and mature. So, I am pretty sure she will make good use of her time there and not get into too much trouble. She is a big art and history buff, so she will probably spend a good portion of her time checking out London’s magnificent museums and other cultural hot spots. Anyhow, I have to get back to my research.

Family These Days
Tuesday, November 8th, 2011
I can still say that both families of today and yesterday are still connected. Let me give you a good list of comparison and contrast from how the families are connected before and after.
Family before: Connections means family bonding time (examples would include family boot camps, travelling, mountain trekking and camping, Kona Hawaii fishing, swimming in beaches, enlisting for a sports festivals and more). They agree to set a specific free time together to ensure that they would be physically be there when that day comes.
Family today: The rise of the modern technology can make communications easier between family members. Thru texting and calling, through the use of the World Wide Web (emails, social network sites and instant messaging) families can stay connected anytime and anywhere. However, what is missing is the physical presence. Even though they see each other thru webcams and pictures I’m sure there is still something missing when it comes to bonding quality.
